Baby Taking Bath

Baby taking bath with snake

Baby with snake

There’s nothing wrong with giving your baby a bath. For those parents that want to be efficient, it can even be argued that letting the baby take a bath with the pet is a time and energy saving option. This, of course, assumes that the pet is not one that would actually enjoy eating your baby…

On a cold bathroom floor/tub, snakes are very slow.
And if it has been fed recently, it will not go after the baby – even if it HASN’T been fed, it’ll most likely consider the baby too big for consumption.
Totally safe. :) The first one that is. The second one, I’m not so sure about however. :/

FFFFFFUUU:

Wrong, many snakes are opportunity feeders and WILL strike when there’s food nearby. Besides, the bathwater is most likely warm.

Also, never assume that something’s “too big” for a snake. They are incredibly flexible, and there is at least one documented case of a snake eating a hippo (video is on youtube).

I’d NEVER let a small child play with a snake that’s larger than him.
