It’s spelled hypocrite, not hipocrite. You don’t know what someone believes or if they are going against it unless they tell you, so how are Americans hypocrites? If you’re referring to being judgemental, isn’t that what YOU are doing? Tech. that would make you the hypocrite. You shouldn’t lump all people into a group and make generalizations based on the actions of some.

Am I the only one that can tell the cigarette is not lit? If it was there would be a cherry and ashes… so it is a fail to carry an unlit smoke in a picture where the person holding it could arguably be me legal smoking age?

Without context it’s impossible to say.
I knew a couple at university with one mature student (early 30s) and one pretty much straight out of school, and no-one would have batted an eye at either of them smoking or dressing like this.

Hard to tell with the eyes blacked out but is it a dad and a teenage daughter? In which case … yeah kinda strange. I am not a smoker but I always felt like if I did smoke I would be way too embarassed to do it in front of my parents. (and I’m 34!)

Only americans can have such a stupid hate for smoke. I’m not a cigarette smoker, but see in this picture a cigarette and say “she’s a bad mum” it’ just ….american. Poor people.
