I recently moved to Turkey, and I see this on almost a daily basis. Minus the veiled woman, thankfully women don’t dress like that here, maybe the occasional headscarf.
Mind you, I live in a very modern area of Turkey, but babies on the backs of scooters…everywhere. The child care philosophy is: you gave birth to it, you can do whatever the hell you want with your baby.
