um, if you watch the video, she is paying attention to her kid. just because she looked away for half a second does not make her a bad parent. we all make mistakes from time to time as parents, thank god the kid survived this one though. lighten up people, we dont live in a world where people can be aware of every little detail every little second.

there was an interview with the mother who said she put the brakes on, but they failed. then she and a local teenager crawled under the train to pull his out.
i’m not defending the woman. when i take my niece out in her stroller and need to put the brakes on, i always leave my other foot resting in front of the axle in case the brakes fail.

There are brakes on strollers for a reason!! And, unless you only have one hand, you shouldn’t have to let go of a stroller just to pull up your pants. If I were the Mom, I’d probably be dead from trying to go after my son. Then again, if I were the Mom, I wouldn’t let go of the stroller without locking it.
