Subway Baby Stroller Video
No matter how much of a rush you are in, trying to jump into the closing subway doors with a stroller is never a good idea…

Editorial fail!
Have you actually listened to the commentary on the video? The poor woman had her clothes caught on the stroller so COULDN’T free herself when the train moved away.
She had no choice but to be dragged along the platform.

I don’t think this was a parenting fail. I don’t think the doors just closed sooner than she expected. How terrifying for her. And, she risked her own life to get her baby free.

I think this is FAR from a “parent fail”… that woman did the absolute best thing for her child by unstrapping him and pulling him from the stroller to safety. She saved her child’s life! I’m glad that she ended up being okay – she’s very lucky! They’re BOTH very lucky.

I don’t know specifically about Korea, but in Japan there is a warning bell when the doors of a train or subway are about to close. This is common in most countries. If that is the case and she tried to sneak in at the last minute, it is a parent fail no matter how heroic she was afterwards. If that isn’t the case, then there is no parent fail here.

Don’t think this is a fail either. Might be listet as a warning, not as a fail though. Fail is on the subway company for enabling trains to leave without all doors being closed. Where I live this cóúldn’t happen.

Sorry, but am I the only one who laughed at the woman running after the mother waving her arms above her head?

Yeah, Kelly…you should be sorry. Shame on you for laughing at the woman waving her arms. She obviously was in distess as she witnessed what happened. How do YOU think you’d react?! Or would you just calmly stand by and watch?

I’d be flainlin my arms too-then laugh at myslef on the video later. I think this IS a parent fail because: if you know you’re going on a subway with your child, take him/her outta the stroller before boarding. It was poor planning on the mothers part to PUT herself and her child in danger like that. I’m sure mothers do it stroller out all the time-but it’s not safe….It was stupidity on her part. Do I think it’s awesome that she saved her child and was lucky to survive also-hells yeah! BUT I do think its a fail-yes her clothes were caught-wouldn’t a happend at all if she’d just planned better….

Hardly fair to criticise this poor woman – what a terrible experience, I felt sick just watching it. How could she possible know what would happen? Thank goodness they were both ok.
